Why Riku Health
Our Programs
Specialized care, delivered online
Choose the care program that fits your needs. Our licensed providers are trained specialists in each of these areas.
ADHD & Focus Care
Comprehensive ADHD evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing medication management for adults. Our psychiatrists create personalized treatment plans, including therapy referrals, lifestyle coaching, and when appropriate, prescription management.
Weight Loss & GLP-1 Care
Evidence-based weight management combining GLP-1 receptor agonists (semaglutide, tirzepatide) with behavioral coaching and nutritional guidance. Our physicians evaluate candidacy, prescribe when appropriate, and monitor your progress every step of the way.
Behavioral Health
Psychiatric evaluation and medication management for anxiety, depression, and mood disorders, often co-occurring alongside ADHD or metabolic health challenges. Our integrated approach treats the whole patient, not just the diagnosis.
How Telehealth Works
All appointments are conducted over HIPAA-compliant video. After your visit, your care plan and any prescriptions are sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy. Ongoing check-ins, lab reviews, and medication adjustments are all handled virtually. No commute, no waiting room.

Understanding your condition
Getting informed is the first step toward better health. Here's what you should know.
Adult ADHD
Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder is a neurodevelopmental condition that affects executive function, working memory, and impulse regulation. In adults, it often presents differently than in children, with chronic disorganization, difficulty sustaining focus on low-stimulation tasks, and emotional dysregulation rather than hyperactivity.
Many adults were never evaluated as children, particularly women and people of color who present with predominantly inattentive symptoms. Untreated ADHD is associated with lower academic and occupational attainment, relationship difficulties, and higher rates of anxiety and depression.
Common signs in adults
- ·Difficulty prioritizing tasks and managing time
- ·Hyperfocus on high-interest activities
- ·Frequently losing items or missing deadlines
- ·Emotional sensitivity and mood shifts
- ·Sleep disturbances and restlessness
Obesity & Metabolic Health
Obesity is a chronic, complex disease. It is not a failure of willpower. It is driven by a combination of genetic predisposition, hormonal dysregulation, environmental factors, and changes in gut signaling that make sustained weight loss through diet and exercise alone extremely difficult for many people.
GLP-1 receptor agonists like semaglutide (Ozempic, Wegovy) and tirzepatide (Mounjaro, Zepbound) have demonstrated 15–22% body weight reductions in clinical trials (individual results vary significantly). Medical supervision is essential for safety and long-term success. Your provider will discuss realistic expectations during your first visit.
You may be a candidate if you have
- ·BMI ≥ 30, or ≥ 27 with weight-related conditions
- ·History of difficulty maintaining weight loss
- ·Comorbidities: Type 2 diabetes, hypertension, sleep apnea
- ·Interest in GLP-1 therapy with medical oversight
